This course has been designed to highlight individual practitioner and collective staff team responsibilities in Safeguarding children and their families. Within this, differing family, cultural, ability, religious and individual perspectives will be considered.
This is a four-day course exploring the range of necessary knowledge, skills and characteristics needed to recognise and respond to vulnerability and the need for early support, for families with children up to 11 years of age.
This course includes practical assignments and will promote a reflective model for supervision, forming a structure for exploring how the management of safeguarding issues can be woven into the supervision process and therefore be addressed as appropriate.
